Where are we going
At ANEI we have a strategic plan based in three fundamental aspects: social, environmental and cultural. For the implementation of this plan, there has been participation of different regional and national entities; as well as agreements and cooperation projects to look after the farmer and native families from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and Serranía del Perijá
The main goals are the conservation and recovery of the traditional values from the native and farmer cultures in the territories of their influence, the training of new leaders so that they may continue the defense of our villages; the construction of the Kankurwas, ceremonial centers for the ancient practices of our culture; and being a fundamental axis in the economical development of our villages, appropiate to our world view.
Cultural Aspect
Tend to improve the life conditions of their members. Generating projects focused on the food sovereignty, to ensure the recovery of native species, native foods from the region, minor species and fish ponds.
Social Aspect
To promote the respect for mother earth, preserving the harmony between men and nature. Constantly advance actions to protect water as the fundamental axis of life, the wild fauna and flora as a part of our balance, the soils as mother and the good management of solid waste.
