SEYWIAKA: Intercultural Innovation and Memory Center for future generations.

ANEI proudly announces the opening of the SEYWIAKA Intercultural Innovation Center, a spiritual space conceived as a legacy for the next seven generations. This center, fruit of the collective thinking of indigenous people, peasants, youth, and women, is a space where shared dreams and visions materialize. SEYWIAKA comes before the sun was born, it is within the cosmology of the Kogui people when there was nothing, only the mother earth.

This event represents a milestone for the organization, since, thanks to the effort and dedication of the families of the different regions, it has been possible to build a spiritual and innovative space that will be in constant interaction with the territories, communities and families; with the purpose of promoting development, innovation, community welfare, training young people, improving operational logistics and offering a closer attention to both customers and producers.

Aurora Izquierdo, founder of ANEI, expressed her excitement in this regard: “This excites me, I think that the energy we put into it and that happiness, that works. Because I want young people and children to think: all you have to do is dream it, all you have to do is imagine it for things to come true”. These words reflect the vision of SEYWIAKA as a space where imagination and collective effort are transformed into reality.

ANEI maintains its firm commitment to sowing peace, weaving the future in community and harmony with nature. Its mission is to generate well-being in the territory, under the thought that the union of efforts can achieve great changes in the way of acting and thinking in the world.

Jorge Páez Izquierdo, ANEI’s Commercial Manager, highlighted the relevance of this important stage: “This is a historic moment for the organization. After 29 years, we have managed, together with all the families in the region, to build a space to train and continue innovating in agroecology and fair trade.

With the inauguration of the SEYWIAKA Intercultural Innovation Center, Anei reaffirms its commitment to sustainable development, interculturalism and the well-being of communities, projecting itself towards a future in harmony with nature.
