The Harvest Begins in Anei: Growing Coffee with the Heart and in Harmony with Nature.

ANEI proudly announces the start of its harvest, one more step towards building a sustainable future, where each coffee bean becomes a seed of peace and harmony with nature. In this new stage, the organization reaffirms its commitment to caring for the planet, promoting ecological practices and strengthening the community ties that define its mission: Sowing peace, weaving the future in community and harmony with nature.

This year, Anei has reinforced its focus on supporting local producers through programs that seek to strengthen crops and implement sustainable practices. Its objective is to consolidate a faster, more direct and safer model, ensuring that the benefits of the harvest reach each producer equitably.

The collection points, located in the municipalities of Pueblo Bello, Codazzi and Valledupar, are now open and prepared to receive the best coffee grown with care and dedication. Anei invites all producers to participate, with the confidence that together they will take coffee to its maximum expression, connecting with the heart of the world.

Aurora Izquierdo Torres, Arhuaca leader and founder of ASOANEI, expressed: “I thank God and the universe for the health and energy that allow us to begin this new harvest. The weather has been favorable, with rains at just the right time and the increase in the price of coffee is a blessing for our producers. We must be good administrators and continue taking care of Mother Earth, which is our mission.

“Coffee is not just a product, it is an opportunity to unite, be supportive and show our best work. This coffee, which connects with the heart of the world, is quality and history. We are going to give our best in this harvest.” he stated, motivating all producers from the different regions to do their best on this new path.

Anei aims to make the 2024-2025 harvest a success for everyone. Their goal is to follow a path of high productivity that allows them to continue making history and face together the challenges that arise in this new harvest. The organization firmly believes in teamwork and collaboration as key elements to achieve goals and strengthen the well-being of the community.
