Important information about our ANEI organic coffee certification

At ANEI we have different certifications that guarantee the quality of the coffee and its processes, one of the most important is the organic coffee seal, but do you know what it means? According to the European Commission, organic farming is:

“… an agricultural system that provides you, the consumer, with fresh, tasty and authentic food, while respecting natural life cycles.”
In our community we preserve sustainability and protect mother earth through ancestral practices that have allowed us to produce high-quality organic coffee, we use different alternatives that manage to preserve coffee plantations and we train each of our associates to meet all the necessary requirements and get excellent coffee.

When an organic coffee is certified, they can use a representative logo for this product, if you want to check the certification you must take into account the following:
Code number of the organic coffee control body.
Certification logo.
Information on the place of production of the raw material.

Obtaining an organic certification requires a commitment and dedication to obtain a high quality coffee, in suitable and organic conditions, the control of said certification extends to the entire production process. It is checked annually, among other sporadic visits to verify the corresponding criteria, if the farmer is using unauthorized fertilizers or pesticides or if he has possibly bought unauthorized seeds and products.

Organic coffee needs special care and supervised treatments, therefore we are able to train all our associates and provide them with the appropriate tools to achieve the objective of meeting the necessary requirements of organic certification, in addition both the farmer and the marketer must register the resources and materials acquired and present a cultivation plan for next year.
The processor and the marketer must keep records of their purchases and sales in order to control the volume flow.
